The Roman Akimov about the opening of the exhibition:
“The Legendary Central sports club of the Navy no longer exists. Are attempts to return to the Club, but so far unsuccessful. It’s nice that the memory of the great victories of CSK NAVI is saved in the Museum of sports Glory of CSKA. I am doubly pleased that the exhibition can see photos of my dad, Vladimir Akimov and his brother (my uncle) – Anatoly Akimov”.

At the opening ceremony was attended by legends CSK Navi – masters: two-time Olympic champion in water Polo (1972, 1980) Vyacheslav Sobchenko, the Olympic champion of 1972 in rowing Gennady korshikov, Olympic champion in 1976 in rowing foursome swing with the steering, Mikhail Kuznetsov, the bronze medalist of the Olympic games 1968 in rowing Alexander Martyshkin and three-time USSR champion in water Polo, European champion Sergey Rudakov.
This day was the result of the meeting of veterans of “the Legend of the Soviet sports – CSK Navy,” during which they gave the Museum its sports relics.
